UEA Law School 2010 Photographs - Important information - Please read carefully....
As you will now be aware, Earlham Hall has been subjected to an emergency closure order due to serious structural failure. Consequently the location for the traditional Law School graduation group photographs had to be changed at very short notice. You can see from the picture below why the building could not be used as a backdrop. This was taken on the morning of your graduation ceremony.
Some of you have already ordered photographs based on the assumption that they will be similar to those which I have taken in previous years. Those orders, some placed as long ago as April, with their cheques and credit card payments have just been passed on to me by the Law School. That is why the payments had not yet been processed. It will make future administration easier if you regard me - Les Sullivan, the photographer - as your point of contact.
It concerns me that this years photographs are unavoidably different to those that you were expecting. For those of you that pre-ordered and wish to cancel your order I will happily refund your payment in full.
I shall attempt to contact those of you who pre-ordered to confirm your requirement before posting the photographs to you. This will not be possible in all cases but I shall do my best.
It is extremely important to me that you should feel that you have been treated fairly and are happy with your photographs. A lot of highly skilled work has gone into editing these images and I am sure that you will value them. The prints are all produced to archive standards using the highest quality and most stable materials available. They will last for generations. The original digital images will be stored indefinitely and additional prints may be purchased at any time.
Please do not judge the quality of the prints by the images you see here on your computer screen as they have been compressed and reduced in quality to speed up viewing over the internet.

Congregation
There are two versions of this photograph available. The original set in "The Square" and the other superimposed on a backdrop of Earlham Hall (from a 1997 photograph). Personally I prefer the photograph with Earlham Hall in the background, particularly as that is the building most clearly identified with your course of study. The size is approx 17" x 11" in both cases.
I did not paint out the "Union Pub" sign as it seems that some of you have fond memories of that location (smile).
